OKR Pulse

OKRs are powerful for creating focus and alignment, but in practice, most tools make them harder to use than they should be. I wanted a simple way to track progress at a glance — something that could support weekly updates, spark team conversations, and make outcomes feel tangible.

Many teams treat OKRs as “set and forget,” but I see them as a living rhythm of check-ins, reflection, and refinement. The challenge is balancing that rhythm with the reality of limited time and high admin overhead.

Originally, I built this dashboard as part of a larger suite of product management trackers, but I later refined it into a standalone tool that’s easy to share and adapt.

It’s one thing to realise the initial vision — it’s another to iterate. Each improvement revealed new dependencies, and more than once I broke something that had worked beautifully before. That process gave me a renewed empathy for developers: the hidden work, the quiet frustrations, and the satisfaction of making systems just a little cleaner each time. It reminded me why I love product operations — creating clarity and flow, even when the details fight back.
