My Professional Playbook
My playbook captures how I lead product work — focusing on improving the system, owning outcomes, curating what matters, building structures for success, and simplifying everything I touch.

I created MECCA after years of working across complex products and platforms where clarity, alignment, and intentional principles are essential. As my responsibilities grew, I found myself returning to the same core behaviours that consistently improved outcomes — making the work better, taking ownership, curating information, creating systems that help teams thrive, and simplifying complexity.
What began as a personal decision-making framework evolved into a practical guide I use with teams and other product managers to shape culture, lift execution, and keep product work grounded in value. Publishing it is my way of sharing how I operate and the philosophy behind the “invisible origami” approach that underpins my product craft.

Sharing my MECCA playbook at Product Anonymous and with my team reinforced something important: great product work isn’t just about frameworks or process — it’s about the principles we choose to show up with every day. Presenting it sparked thoughtful conversations, helped my team strengthen trust and collaboration, and gave others language for behaviours they were already striving toward.
For me, MECCA is both a compass and a mirror. It keeps me grounded when decisions get complex, and it highlights where I still need to grow. I use it to guide how I lead, coach, and prioritise, but also to identify gaps in my own development — whether it’s simplifying more boldly, curating more intentionally, or taking deeper ownership.
The more I use this playbook, the more it evolves. It’s become a living part of my practice, shaping how I refine my craft and how I build the kind of team culture where great product work can thrive.
